When traveling, random events will happen from time to time. Every day of travel, roll 4 d20's. Each of them represent a part of the travel day, dawn, noon, afternoon, and dusk.
If a d20 lands 5-14, roll a random animal encounter, 15+ a random event is triggered. Roll from the table below. Max 1 animal encounter per day of travel.

| 1 | Black Knight, a man howling and swinging a greatsword wildly is found at a crossroad.
A Remove Curse spell cast on the man frees him from the madness for 1d6 days. He will not attack the party directly unless they attack him first, but he may swing in their direction. |

| 2 | Hounds of Balthazar pass the party, mentioning that demons have been seen about.
The kind of demons is determined by a d4. |

| 6 | Birth of a Necromancer a young man is found kneeling in a field, surrounded by remains of
his allies, and a couple bandits about to put him down. |

He is alone, but a strong fighter in his own right. |

| 8 | A Good Death, an older half-orc is seen on the side of the road, with 2 beasts dead
at his hands. He asks the party if any of them are mighty warriors to give him a good death. |

| 11 | The party passes a handful of drunks. They share a drink and a rumor with the party. | |

| 13 | Broken Caravan. If the party can help fix it, 1g split among those that helped
repair it. If anyone has carpenter's tools proficiency, guaranteed success. |

| 16-20 | If the Naked Nords haven't been dealt with, roll a d4 for that. | |

| 17 | A man is injured on the side of the road. If the party uses any resources to heal him,
they are rewarded with their level in gold. |

| 18 | A traveling cleric of Dwayna passes the party, offering to cure any wounds they have suffered.
He also offers to perform any Ceremony for them. If nothing in particular, he gives them a flask of holy water. |

| 19 | A traveling wizard offers low-level scrolls for a reasonable price. If there is a wizard in the party
he offers to trade a spell or 2 from his book for one from yours. |

| 20 | A traveling bard passes the party. If they'll listen, he'll play a song for them.
The party is under the effects of Bless until the next dawn (applies to the night's perception checks). |
