Lands and Titles

Over the course of the campaign, the party may achieve deeds that earn them rank within the kingdom. After Haunted Woods where they are responsible for the rescue of several elves, they are visited by Chancellor Ocato, with a regiment of guards, to deliver their reward of 1000gp for routing the cult and saving the citizens. He also permits that One of the party may stand as Lord of the nearby land, the Bearway, and the others are knighted if they so desire. Their land is from the stronghold to the River Lyssa south, parallel to Dwayna's Field north, to Dwayna's bridge to the west. There's no clear border to the east, as the grove is hard to properly mark.

The official investigation of the cult has discovered that they were a cult of the fallen god Dhuum and that the shrine appeared to be siphoning magical energy... somewhere. The sigil underneath the crystal is the sigil of Dhuum

The gem's dust appears to be mundane. It was used as a catalyst but holds no magic on its own now.

Regulus is still catatonic, his body is physically fine, but in Doc's medical opinion it's as though his soul is missing.

The party has made their way to Lion's Arch to spend their reward and encountered the Black Knight, Darren, who they have recruited as their guard captain and his wife Cynthia as a priestess. Dwayna has healed him for the time being.

They also encountered an alchemist, who had been robbed on her travels. The thief played himself by following the party to their campsite, where Doc approached him and the man was slain. 3 potions of healing were found in his bag, the other potions were broken when the man fell over dead.

Darren and Cynthia are preparing to move to the bearway, and the alchemist is considering it as well.

They are now on their way back to the stronghold.

With Doc and Echo potentially missing the next session, I need to think of something to take up that
