The Eladrin, Melandru's chosen druids, have watched over the land since time immemorial. They are a secretive people, rarely seen by mortal men. While each forest has its Eladrin, there are 4 rumored to be in Tyria.
- Autumn, a hot-headed girl, maiden of Melandru's Grove, and the de facto leader of the Tyrian Eladrin.
- Personality of Ino Yamanaka.
- Viren, while once energetic, he has become jaded and lazy over the years. Watcher of the Verdant Coast.
- Personality of Shikamaru Nara.
- Aiden, brash warrior, withered defender of Godslost Swamp.
- Personality of Kiba Inuzuka.
- Bitra, a shy girl burdened with self-doubt. The mourner of the Grove of Bones.
- Personality of Hinata Hyuga.
While the latter 2 have been presumed passed, Autumn and Viren are believed to be still watching their respective woods. But now that the Verdant Coast has lost its vigor, it's beginning to be believed something has happened to him.
As the party arrives at Logger's Retreat, a rumor has been circulating that a strange elf has been seen on the north side of the forest and that she has been using a strange ritual, which seems to be returning vigor to the woods.
This is Autumn, moving to take over for Viren's neglect.
Where she goes, it seems that the trees begin growing quickly again. Some townsfolk believe her to be a druid, others believe her to be Eladrin.
If the party seeks her out, she will admit to being an Eladrin, and that she doesn't know what's become of the druid of the coast. She asks them to help her get to the Druid's Tower, as much of the woods have been overrun by strange beasts.
Once the party has arrived at the tower, she uses the reflecting pool of the tower to scry on Viren. She shouts in outrage, as she sees Viren playing chess with another man in a tavern. He is in the Warm Hearth inn in Eir's Stedding. She shares her vision with the party, asking if they recognize the location. She then asks if anyone had touched any foliage near the town. She uses Transport via Plants to go to the location and track him down. She scolds him for abandoning his post and nearly drags him back outside. She transports back to the tower. Viren groans, but promises to keep by his post, though he may go to Logger's Retreat for a game of chess from time to time.
Autumn asks the party if they would rather make their own way back to the stronghold, or if she can use Transport via Plants to move back to the grove, skipping the travel time. Shortly after returning, Autumn collapses, coughing up blood.
