Editing The Arena

There are arenas in [[Rytlock]], [[Lion's Arch]], and [[Eir's Stedding]]. 

You can bet on matches, and those bold of heart, or fool of head, can enter the arena, to earn glory and gold. A successful bout earns 50gp. The fights can either be sped through (Xanathar’s Pit-fight downtime) or made into proper competitions. If the fights are acted out, they should be balanced to the fighter at hand.  Team fights are an option.
Vocal spells or abilities can be cast from the crowd, but they risk getting caught if there’s somatics or materials

The combatants should be humanoids of a similar level or beasts of comparable CR. 
This gives the party a way to earn gold and experience if they decide to pursue battle over other forms of employment.
