The towns of Hayfield and Macaroon are rival towns on either side of the [[Oola River]]. Hayfield is home to many Gnomes, while Macaroon is home to Halflings. They have been feuding for centuries, the cause of the feud long forgotten. __notoc__
Things to do

Ending the Feud
One person does remember the cause, the Gnome patriarch, who remembers vividly. He has been essentially in a state of suspended animation, with his children using Gentle Repose (stops decay for 10 days) and raise dead to keep him alive. *Patriarch ("Paddy") is voiced like Gollum Paddy remembers precisely "seven thousands, two hundred and forty-six years, forty-three days and twenty-seven minuteses ago, the filthy halflingses promised to paint my chicken coop in return for cornbread muffinses that I gave them, because they were hungrises. They ate the muffinses, but no chicken coop was painted." They cannot paint the coop now to end it "Because seven thousands, two hundred and forty-five years, thirty-seven days and thirteen minutes ago... THEY. BROKE IT. Those filthy, stupid halflingses." The party must convince the halflings to build, stock, and paint a chicken coop to end the feud. Once that's done, Paddy grins ear to ear, "Better late than neverses. The debt is paid. Thank youses." and with that, Paddy passes, and his soul is no longer willing to rejoin his body. The villages are still uneasy, as they need to adjust to their new status quo of not pelting each other with rocks across the river.
Inns
β¦β¦β¦β¦ Hayfield Candle, private rooms, feasting hall, 1gp per night. *Eowyn, gnome woman, (high, irish accent) β¦β¦ Macaroon hearth, 2 to a room, feasting hall , 5sp per room per night. *Mar, Halfling man, wider than he is tall. (deep voice, scottish if you can manage)
Shops
blacksmiths, basic weapons and tools, no armor. Tailors, basic clothing, light armor by request. Bakers, plentiful and cheap. Drinking establishments, see inns, and a few more spread across the towns.

[[Category:Locations]]
